Rayher green lacquered floral wire – 30 cm long, ø 1.2 mm, 20 pieces

Rayher floral wire is a 30 cm long, green lacquered wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm, for arrangements, bouquets and wreaths. You can use it to secure candles, bind and strengthen stems and shape forms. The bag contains 20 pieces, which makes it easy to plan quantities for a few arrangements.

The green lacquer blends in discreetly among leaves and stems. The base material is iron, and the hardness is approx. 400 N/mm².

Using the floral wire

Shorten the wire to the length you need with side cutters. To strengthen a stem, lay the wire against it and wind it tightly around. When binding branches to a wreath, take the wire round the base several times and bend the end inwards so that it does not stick out. The wire is also suitable for securing candles in arrangements, and for shaping and repairs.

Which thickness to choose

At 1.2 mm, this floral wire is slightly stronger than the 1.0 mm version, which comes in bags of 25. The thicker wire holds heavier items better, while the thinner one is easier to bend and wind.
