Rayher tapered corks 27 × 26/22 mm, pack of 4

Rayher tapered corks 27 × 26/22 mm – 4 conical corks for sealing and crafting

The Rayher tapered corks 27 × 26/22 mm are four conical corks made of natural cork. You can use them to seal small bottles, flacons or test tubes, or to make a cork animal, for example.

The corks are 27 mm high, 26 mm wide at the top and 22 mm wide at the bottom. Thanks to the tapered shape, they fit openings with a diameter between these two values. According to Rayher, cork is a natural product.

Will the cork fit your opening?

Measure the inside diameter of the opening before buying. The cork fits well if this measurement is between 22 and 26 mm. This size suits test tubes with a diameter of 2.5 cm. For narrower necks you need a smaller tapered cork, for wider ones a larger one. Rayher offers further sizes in the same series.

Making cork animals and more

Cork can be cut with a sharp knife and joined with craft glue. For a cork animal, join several corks together as the body and head and add ears, feet or a tail made of felt, paper or wire. Always cut away from your body and place the cork on a cutting mat.
