Rico Design Creative Bubble – sponge yarn for scourers and dishcloths

Rico Design Creative Bubble is a 100 % polyester yarn for knitting and crocheting scourers, scrubbing cloths, dishcloths, exfoliating gloves, bags and colourful accessories. According to the manufacturer, it was developed specifically for homemade scourers.

Each ball weighs 50 g and has a length of approx. 90 m. According to the manufacturer, approx. 50 g makes two scourers, so one ball is enough for a small set. Choose your colour from the options.

What you can make with Creative Bubble

This synthetic yarn turns stitches into a grippy, gentle surface that suits scourers and cleaning cloths. It can also be used for exfoliating gloves, small bags and accessories. As it is pure polyester, it is also suitable for projects that are washed often: it is washable up to 60 °C and should be dried flat.

Knitting or crochet?

Both work. For knitting use a 2 mm needle, for crochet a 4 mm crochet hook. Crocheted fabric works up looser and faster, while knitted fabric is denser. Allow about one ball for two scourers.

What matters is the tension given in your pattern; the manufacturer's figure is only a guide.
