Lang Yarns PAILLETTES is a carry-along yarn with sequins attached, which you hold together with a base yarn when knitting or crocheting. It adds sparkling accents to scarves, jumpers or accessories. The sequins have a diameter of 2 mm and sit on a light yarn made of 55% polyamide and 45% polyester.

One ball weighs 25 g and has a length of approx. 112 m. Use this to estimate how many balls you need for your project. Choose your colour from the options.

Working with PAILLETTES

Take the sequin thread together with a base yarn and knit or crochet both strands as one. The base yarn determines the texture, warmth and needle size, while PAILLETTES provides the sparkle. The sequins show to best effect with a plain, smooth base yarn, whereas they tend to get lost in a strongly marled yarn. A small tension swatch with your base yarn shows you before you start how dense the shimmer looks and whether the needle size is right.

Care

According to Lang Yarns, wash the yarn or the finished piece with detergent for delicates and without fabric softener.
