Lang Yarns Prisma is a knitting yarn made from 100 % Merino Extrafine virgin wool with a colour gradient. The colours blend smoothly into one another, so even areas worked in stocking stitch look lively. Choose your colour from the options.

The wool is superwash treated and comes from mulesing-free merino sheep. One ball weighs 100 g and has a length of approx. 180 m. You can use the length to work out the quantity needed for your project.

What Prisma is suited to

In aran weight with needles of 4.5–5.5 mm, your work grows quickly. The yarn suits jumpers, scarves, hats and shawls. The merino content feels soft, and the superwash finish makes care easier. Please follow the care instructions on the ball band.

Knitting tips

With gradient yarn it is worth buying the whole quantity for a project at once, as the gradient can vary slightly from ball to ball. What matters is the tension given in your pattern; the figure of 17 stitches and 24 rows over 10 × 10 cm is only a guide. When you change to the next ball, you can join the gradient at a matching colour section so that the transition stays unobtrusive.
