Rayher faceted glass beads are Ø 4 mm glass beads for bracelets, necklaces, earrings and other craft projects. They have a shimmering surface that catches the light. Depending on the colour, they are transparent, semi-opaque or opaque. Choose your colour from the options.

Each tin contains 100 beads, so you can plan a piece of jewellery with evenly sized beads. According to Rayher, the beads are lightfast, sweat-resistant and resistant to perfume. That is useful for jewellery you wear every day.

Threading

Thread the beads onto jewellery wire or tear-resistant nylon thread. The edges of faceted glass beads can fray delicate threads, so these materials are safer than thin yarn. Before threading, check that your wire or thread passes easily through the hole. A piece of jewellery made with beads from the same tin looks even.

Which size to choose

At Ø 4 mm the beads are dainty but still clearly visible, for example for fine bracelets or as spacer beads. Rayher also offers the series in Ø 3 mm (100 pieces per tin) and Ø 6 mm (50 pieces per tin). Choose the larger bead if it is meant to be a focal point.
