Mini screw eyes 5 × 10 mm – 50 pieces with wood thread for light hanging points

Screwing in the screw eyes

Place the tip of the screw at the desired spot and turn it in by the ring with your fingers. For hard or thin wood, first make a small pilot hole with a bradawl or a thin drill bit. This stops the wood from splitting and keeps the screw straight. In cork and softwood, you can usually do without pre-drilling. Do not keep forcing the screw if it turns stiffly, otherwise the ring may bend.
