Marabu Metallic Liner UNIVERSAL – metallic effect paint for many surfaces

The Marabu Metallic Liner UNIVERSAL is an effect paint in a liner bottle for shimmering decoration and ornaments with a metallic finish. The water-based paint has a low odour in use and adheres to paper, card, wood, ceramic, glass and fabrics with up to 20% synthetic fibres. With the liner tip you can draw lines, dots, lettering and patterns straight from the bottle.

Choose your colour from the options. For glitter effects, the series also includes the Marabu Glitter Liner UNIVERSAL.

Working with the liner

Apply the paint to a clean, grease-free surface and squeeze the bottle with even pressure so the line does not break up. Start each line in one go and draw it through steadily. Practise your movement and pressure on a scrap of paper first. Leave the paint to dry for approx. 6–12 hours and do not touch the design during this time, otherwise the lines will smudge.

Fixing and washing fabrics

On fabrics, the paint must be fixed after drying, either with an iron or in the oven. Only then is it washable up to 40 °C. Check beforehand that your fabric can withstand the heat, and turn the item inside out when washing it later. The liner is not intended for fabrics with more than 20% synthetic fibres.
