Marabu Glitter Liner UNIVERSAL – glitter effect paint for paper, wood, glass and fabric

The Marabu Glitter Liner UNIVERSAL is a water-based effect paint in a handy liner bottle. Use it to draw ornaments, outlines and decorations with a glitter effect. It adheres to paper, card, wood, ceramic, glass and fabrics with up to 20 % synthetic fibre content, so you do not need a separate paint for each material. Choose your colour from the options.

Because the paint is water-based, it has a low odour. The liner is lightfast and weatherproof, so the decorations stay visible even in bright spots.

Working with the liner

Test the liner first on a swatch or a scrap of paper so you can judge how the paint flows. The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Guide the tip evenly over the surface and squeeze the bottle only lightly, and lines and dots will come out evenly. Then leave the paint to dry: drying takes approx. 6–12 hours, and you should not touch the piece during this time.

Fixing on fabric

On fabric, the paint only becomes permanent after fixing, either with an iron or in the oven. After that it is washable up to 40 °C.

• Check beforehand that the fabric and the surface underneath can withstand the heat.
• Only fix once the paint has dried completely.
• Follow the fixing instructions on the packaging.
• Later, wash and iron the fabric inside out.

Glitter or metallic?

The Glitter Liner adds glitter accents. The series also includes the Metallic Liner, which has a shimmering metallic finish. If you want glitter, choose this Glitter Liner.
