Efco Crimp Beads Ø 1.0 mm – Real Gold-Plated for Securing Beads and Clasps

Efco Metallschmelz crimp beads in real gold-plated finish secure beads and clasps in jewellery making. They are hard to do without when making jewellery: a crimp bead holds the end of a necklace firmly to a clasp or eyelet, and between beads it fixes their position. The pack contains 100 pieces, Ø 1.0 mm. The gold colour matches clasps and findings in the same shade. The crimp beads are also available in Ø 2.0 mm.

How to fit a crimp bead

Thread the crimp bead onto the wire or thread, pass the end through the eyelet of the clasp and then back through the bead. Pull the loop tight and squeeze the crimp bead together with crimping pliers. The bead should sit firmly on the wire and not slip. Before crimping, check that the wire or thread passes loosely through the bead, and use a small test piece if needed.
