Prym curved upholstery needles – for upholstery work in hard-to-reach places

Prym upholstery needles are semicircular curved sewing needles with an eye, so you can sew upholstery, seat cushions or car seats even where a straight needle cannot reach. The set contains three needles, one each in no. 2, no. 4 and no. 5. They are made of hardened stainless steel.

The numbers are size designations, not millimetre measurements. With three sizes in the set, you can try out which curve suits your upholstery.

Working with the curved needle

Thanks to the curve, you insert the needle with a turning motion from the wrist and bring it out on the same side without lifting the upholstery. This helps, for example, when closing seams or hiding stitches on firmly fixed parts. Sharp needles must be kept out of the hands of children.

• Thread the needle with suitable, strong thread and do not choose an eye that is too tight
• Insert the needle following the curve, do not push against it
• Switch between the three sizes if the needle bumps against the upholstery
