Schmincke AKADEMIE Acryl color Artists' Acrylic Paint, 250 ml

Schmincke AKADEMIE Acryl color 250 ml – cadmium-free artists' acrylic paint

AKADEMIE Acryl color from Schmincke is a fine artists' acrylic paint for beginners, students and professionals. The colours have high lightfastness, are formulated without cadmium pigments and dry waterproof. The long open time gives you time to blend transitions and mix colours on the painting. According to Schmincke, the 250 ml size comes in a bottle. Choose your colour from the options.

According to Schmincke, the range comprises 60 colours: standard colours, three whites and effect colours such as gold, silver and neon. Depending on the colour, the paint is opaque or transparent. This means you can paint solid areas or apply delicate glazes with the same paints.

Working with AKADEMIE Acryl

Suitable painting surfaces include stretched canvases, canvas boards, acrylic painting paper, wood and other clean, grease-free surfaces. The paints can be mixed with all other Schmincke acrylic paints and acrylic auxiliaries. With Primary Yellow, Primary Magenta and Primary Cyan you can mix pure secondary colours yourself. Clean brushes and palette with water while the paint is still wet: once dry, it is waterproof and can hardly be dissolved.

Which size to choose

The same paint is also available in 60 ml. The 250 ml bottle suits colours you use often, for example as a base colour, or large formats. For individual accents and for trying out new colours, the smaller size is often enough.
