The round wood slice from Meyco has a natural bark edge and a very smooth finish on the front and back. You can use it as a base for DIY projects, for example for painting, writing on or sticking things to. Choose the size from the options.

As wood is a natural product, the dimensions, bark and grain differ from slice to slice. When making frames, stands or combinations of several slices, allow a little leeway.

Ideas and working tips

The smooth surface works well with acrylic paint, felt-tip pens or stuck-on motifs. Try the paint on an inconspicuous spot first, as wood absorbs paint to different degrees. It is best to leave the bark edge natural, so the frame effect is kept.

• To hang a slice, drill from the smooth side first and place a piece of scrap wood underneath so the bark does not tear out
• Wood glue or hot glue are suitable for sticking
• Several slices can be combined into garlands, table decorations or wall displays
