Clover Hera Marker – crease lines on fabric without leaving residue

With the Hera Marker from Clover (art. no. 490/NV) you press a crease line into fabric, for example for seam lines, quilting patterns or fold edges. The tool is a urea resin spatula that sits comfortably in the hand and is easy to press down with.

No residue is left on the fabric, because the line is creased rather than drawn. The line is visible on both the right and the wrong side of the fabric. This is useful if you want to carry on working on both sides.

Marking with the Hera

Lay the fabric flat on a firm, even surface and place a ruler or template along the line you want. Run the Hera along the edge with light to medium pressure. You don't need to use much force, as the line is made by pressing the fibres down. To see whether the crease line shows up well on your fabric, it is best to try it first on a scrap.
