Clover Point 2 Point Turner – turning corners, shaping and pressing seams

The Clover Point 2 Point Turner (art. no. 7803) is a sewing tool for turning fabric pieces right side out and shaping corners and seams. One end is curved and tapers to a point, while the other has a fine point for detail work. According to Clover, the shape of both ends sits comfortably in the hand.

At approx. 18 cm long, it is easy to handle and suits patchwork, quilting, garment making and other sewing projects. It is made of urea resin, a robust plastic.

Using the point turner

The tool does more than turn fabric: once a seam has been turned, you shape the corners from the inside without damaging the fabric. The combination of the curved and fine points helps here.

• Corners: shape neatly with both points.
• Seams: run the curved end outwards along the seam, including long or curved seams.
• Pressing: finger-press a fold or seam with the flat side of the curved end.
• Marking: mark fabric with the edges as a hera marker.
