Prym Mini Steam Iron – compact travel iron for your sewing space

The Prym mini steam iron (art. no. 611915) is a small steam iron for travelling and for fine pressing at your sewing space. It is light in the hand, and the ergonomic handle helps you press down on the soleplate without tiring. The voltage can be switched between 110 V and 220 V, so you can also use it when travelling.

The soleplate measures 130 × 75 mm. This lets you reach narrow hems, edges and tight spots more easily than with a full-size iron. The soleplate has a non-stick coating. A measuring cup for filling and a storage bag are included.

What to use the mini iron for

The small soleplate is designed for delicate handicraft work: ironing on interfacing, fixing thin hems and bias binding, pressing patchwork seams or shaping doll clothes. You can also freshen up or steam clothes with it when travelling. The temperature is infinitely adjustable, and the steam burst function helps with stubborn creases. For delicate fabrics or interfacing, test the setting on an offcut first.

Travelling and filling

Before plugging in, set the voltage selector to suit the mains supply in the country you are visiting. The plug is a Euro Schuko plug; in countries with different sockets you will need an adapter. Use the supplied measuring cup for filling. Once cooled, the iron fits into its storage bag, which saves space in your luggage.
