The Prym Professional left-handed dressmaking shears (art. no. 611513) are 21 cm fabric shears for sewing and needlework. The blades and assembly are made for left-handed use, so you can cut with your left hand as powerfully and precisely as right-handers do with professional shears.

The blades are made of stainless steel and have a sharp edge, so you can cut a range of fabrics accurately.

Handle and handling

The ergonomic soft handle sits comfortably in the hand. For good power transfer, the lower handle takes up to four fingers, which saves effort on thicker layers of fabric and longer cuts. The handles are in contrasting colours, so you can find the shears more easily in your sewing room.

Keeping the shears sharp

Use the shears for fabric only. Paper, card or foil blunt the blades more quickly. With left-handed shears you can see the cutting line as you cut, because the blades are mounted as a mirror image for the left hand. Cut with the full length of the blades in long, steady strokes rather than chopping with the tip.
