Prym Applique Scissors 15 cm – precise cutting for appliqué and quilting

The Prym applique scissors (art. no. 610570) are precision embroidery scissors for appliqué, trimming and quilting work. They are 15 cm long, made of steel and have a rose gold finish.

According to Prym, the special curve of the blade and handle prevents the fabric or appliqué from being damaged. The curved lower blade lies flat on the fabric. This lets you trim away excess material in a controlled way without cutting the fabric underneath.

Working with the applique scissors

For appliqué, lay the curved blade flat on the base fabric and cut away the excess fabric with short, controlled snips. Especially in quilting projects and when trimming seam edges, you can get close to the seam line without cutting into the layer beneath. The scissors are intended for cutting fabric and thread, not paper or card, so that the blades stay sharp.
