Prym Power-Dots strong & safe – reinforcement against press studs and eyelets tearing out

Iron the Prym Power-Dots strong & safe reinforcement dots onto the wrong side of the fabric before you fit a press stud or an eyelet. Fine, delicate fabric then withstands the strain better and does not tear out. The dots bond firmly to the fabric when ironed and are not visible afterwards.

The pack contains 100 pre-punched dots in two sizes: 70 with Ø 20 mm and 30 with Ø 30 mm. They are suitable for jersey press studs and Color Snaps in single-layer cotton or jersey fabrics, and also for repairing eyelets and snap fasteners that have torn out.

Using the Power-Dots

Place the dot on the wrong side of the fabric exactly where the press stud or eyelet will go, and iron it on firmly. Only then fit the fastener. If an eyelet or snap fastener has torn out, iron the dot onto the damaged area and fit the fastener again.

Which size to choose

Choose a dot that extends beyond the edge of the press stud or eyelet all the way round. The smaller dots with Ø 20 mm suit smaller fasteners, the larger ones with Ø 30 mm suit larger press studs and eyelets.
