URSUS A4 Black Craft Card Pad – 10 Sheets of Dyed-Through Card

The URSUS craft card pad contains 10 sheets of black card in A4 format (21 × 29.7 cm) at 300 gsm. You can use it for cards, mounts, standing figures, silhouettes and backgrounds in your craft projects. At 300 gsm, the card is much sturdier than ordinary craft paper and stands up well for standing figures and card bases.

The card is dyed through: when you cut it to size, the cut edge stays black, with no pale border. The pad belongs to the URSUS Special Edition range and has a cover sheet with matt foil and partial raised high-gloss varnish.

What black card is used for

Black card makes light colours stand out. Gel pens, metallic pens and chalk pens, or stars and motifs stuck on from pale paper show up especially well on it. As a backing behind photos or paper cuts, it gives a clear contrast. Because the card is dyed through, you can cut out frames and mounts without white showing at the edges.

How to use it

Carefully detach a sheet from the pad along the glued edge. Sketch the shape lightly with a pale pencil or on the back, then cut it out with scissors or a craft knife and ruler. For folded cards, score the fold line first so the sturdy card does not crack.
