Glorex Pipe Cleaners Chenille Stems Ø 8 mm, 50 cm, Pack of 10

Glorex Pipe Cleaners Ø 8 mm – bendy chenille stems for figures and decorations

Glorex pipe cleaners (also known as chenille stems or chenille wire) consist of a bendy wire core with a fluffy covering. The set contains 10 stems, each approx. 50 cm long and 8 mm in diameter. You can use them to shape figures, animals, flowers and decorative accessories. Choose your colour from the options.

The wire core holds its shape, while the soft covering gives your craft projects volume. Together, the 10 stems provide about 5 m of material, so you can plan your project in advance.

Working with pipe cleaners

You bend the wire into shape with your fingers; no tools are needed. To join two stems, twist the ends around each other several times; this holds even without glue. To shorten them, use wire cutters or a pair of scissors that you can use for wire. Then fold the freshly cut wire ends inwards so that nothing sticks out and pokes. For animals and figures, wind the wire around a pencil to make spirals for arms, legs or antennae.
