With the URSUS DIY chenille stem flower kit in shades of purple, you make a bouquet of flowers from soft chenille stems. The kit contains chenille stems, floral stem wires for the stalks and a roll of green floral tape. So you need no other material for stalk and bloom, just side cutters or combination pliers and a hot glue gun.

Chenille stems are easy to bend, shape and twist. The flowers keep their shape permanently and do not wilt. The bouquet works as a table decoration, room decoration or homemade gift.

How a flower is made

Shape petals from several chenille stems, for example by bending each stem into a loop. Twist the ends together in the middle. Attach the bloom to the floral stem wire with a drop of hot glue or by wrapping it. Finally, wrap the stalk with the green tape, stretching it slightly so that it holds well.

Good to know

Chenille stems have a wire core, which is best shortened with side cutters or combination pliers, not household scissors. With stems 30 cm long, you can plan the blooms and stalk length in advance. At Ø 2 mm, the floral stem wires are much firmer than the chenille stems and support the bloom. Combine blooms of different sizes and the bouquet will look livelier.
