Meyco pipe cleaners Ø 24 mm – extra thick chenille stems for large craft projects
Meyco's extra thick pipe cleaners are chenille stems with a diameter of 24 mm, made for large figures, animals, decorative pieces and other craft projects. A soft, fluffy covering surrounds a sturdy wire core, so the stems are pleasant to hold, bend and shape.
The pack contains 4 pieces, and each stem is approx. 30 cm long. Choose your colour from the options. Thanks to their volume, the stems stand out in school and hobby projects, for example as arms, legs, tails or feelers.
Working with thick pipe cleaners
The wire core holds every bend, so you can shape the stems into spirals, rings or limbs without any tools. Use side cutters to shorten them, as good scissors will go blunt on the wire core. To join several stems, twist the ends around each other or fix them with hot glue. Fold cut wire ends over so that they do not prick and do not stick out of the covering.
What they are used for
At 24 mm in diameter, these pipe cleaners are much bulkier than ordinary thin chenille stems. They suit large animals, figures and decorations where thin stems would look too fine.
