Prym iron-on patches in twill – repair patches to iron on or sew on

Prym iron-on patches (art. no. 929222) are square patches made of 100 % cotton in a twill weave, used to cover worn areas on jeans and cotton clothing. The card holds 4 patches measuring 13 × 13 cm, 1 each in orange, pink, white and blue. The corners are rounded and the back is fully coated with adhesive.

The firm twill fabric is also suitable for longer tears. If you need a smaller piece, you can cut the patch to size.

Using the patches

Place the patch on the damaged area so that it overlaps the hole all the way round, then iron it on. Thanks to the adhesive coating over the whole back, it bonds across the entire surface. Sewing it on as well gives a more secure hold, especially on knees and elbows, which are under a lot of strain. On children's clothing and workwear you can also apply the patches to heavily stressed areas as a precaution, before the fabric wears through. Once ironed or sewn on, the garment can be machine washed at 40 °C.
