Daler-Rowney fine-grain sketch paper, A4, 120 gsm, 30 sheets

Daler-Rowney sketch paper A4 – fine grain, 120 gsm, 30 sheets

This fine-grain Daler-Rowney sketch paper in A4 format is for sketches and drawings, for example in pencil. You get 30 sheets of 120 gsm paper in a natural white shade. The fine grain gives the line a little grip without making the surface feel rough.

The paper is glued on one side. With 30 sheets you have enough room for studies, idea sketches and practice pages, without reaching for expensive drawing card straight away.

What the paper is for

At 120 gsm, this is a classic sketch paper for dry techniques. It suits designing, practising and quick studies, for example with pencil. For watercolour or other wet techniques, you are better off with a heavier paper, as thin paper copes less well with moisture and can cockle.

A4 or A3?

The same sketch paper is also available in A3. A4 fits most folders and bags and is handy for taking out and about. For larger designs and more freedom of movement for your hand, choose A3.
