Faber-Castell Triangular Wax Crayons, Set of 12 in Cardboard Box

Faber-Castell Triangular Wax Crayons – 12 water-resistant colours in paper wrappers

The Faber-Castell triangular wax crayons (art. no. 120010) are a set of 12 coordinated, water-resistant wax crayons in a cardboard box. The crayons have an ergonomic triangular shape and sit comfortably in the hand.

Each crayon comes in its own paper wrapper, so your fingers stay clean while you draw. The set is suitable for sgraffito and frottage.

Sgraffito and frottage with wax crayons

For sgraffito, apply several light colours thickly and opaquely, colour a dark shade over the top, then scratch a pattern into it with a pointed object so that the colours underneath show through. For a frottage, place thin paper over a textured surface such as a leaf, a coin or wood grain and rub over it with the crayon held flat. To do this, peel off the paper wrapper and draw with the long side of the crayon.
