URSUS Weaving Sheets in Glossy Paper – 10 Pairs in 10 Colours

URSUS weaving sheets are a set of glossy paper for paper weaving: 10 pairs measuring 14 x 20 cm, each pair in a different colour. Weaving helps you practise fine motor skills and patience. A weaving needle and a mini craft folder are included.

The paper is non-gummed and weighs 80 g/m². The strip width is 10 mm, so the strips are easy to hold and can be pulled through without much practice. You can use the finished woven pieces to decorate cards, for example.

How to weave

One sheet of the pair is the base, and you weave over it with the strips of the second sheet. Pass each strip alternately over and under the strips of the other sheet. In the next row, start offset: where the strip lay on top before, it now goes underneath. The weaving needle helps you push the strips through without creasing the glossy paper. Work row by row and push each finished row firmly against the previous one so the pattern is dense and even.

Colours and quantity

The 10 pairs are assorted in 10 colours. As each pair consists of two sheets, you have 20 individual sheets in total. That is enough to experiment with different colour combinations and make several woven pieces.
