Prym self-adhesive hook tape – hook and loop fastening for hard, smooth surfaces

Prym hook tape (art. no. 968960) is the hook side of a hook and loop fastener (Ritsch-Ratsch tape) that sticks on. You can use it to fix things that you want to open and close again and again. The roll is 25 m long, and the tape is 20 mm wide, white and made of 100% polyamide.

The adhesive side sticks to hard, smooth surfaces. The tape can be opened and closed often without the material wearing out. To fasten it, you need the matching loop tape as the counterpart, which you order separately.

How to stick the tape on

Cut the hook tape and loop tape to the same length with scissors. The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease, otherwise the adhesive will not hold as well. Peel off the protective film gradually and press the tape down firmly. Stick the hook tape and loop tape onto one each of the two surfaces that will meet later. For textiles, a sew-in version is better suited; use the self-adhesive tape for hard, smooth surfaces.
