Prym Self-Adhesive Loop Tape – soft hook-and-loop side for hard, smooth surfaces

Prym loop tape (Ritsch-Ratsch tape) is the soft side of a stick-on hook-and-loop fastener. The roll is 25 m long, 20 mm wide and white, made of 100% polyamide. The tape is self-adhesive and suitable for hard, smooth surfaces.

Used with a hook tape, it forms a flexible fastening that, according to Prym, can be opened and closed often without the material wearing out. The hook tape is not included and must be ordered separately.

Sticking the tape on

The loop tape adheres to hard, smooth surfaces. The surface should be dry, clean and free of grease, otherwise the adhesive will not hold as well. Cut the tape to the length you need, peel off the protective film and press it down firmly. Stick the hook tape to the matching piece and make sure the two tapes line up exactly when closed.

Loop tape or hook tape?

This tape is the loop side only. You complete the fastener with a hook tape of the same width. For textiles that you do not want to stick, Prym offers a separate sew-on version.
