Efco silicone candle mould, cylinder, Ø 60 mm

Efco silicone cylinder mould – smooth candles and plaster casts in cylinder form

The Efco silicone cylinder mould is a mould for casting wax candles, and you can also use it for plaster. It is made of soft silicone and has a diameter of 60 mm and a height of 100 mm. You can cast smooth, simple pillar candles with it, which you can leave plain or decorate later.

The soft silicone gives way when you demould. To release the cast, gently peel the mould away. It is a single mould, so you cast one candle per pour.

How to cast a pillar candle

Before pouring, stand the mould securely in a suitable container so that the soft silicone does not tip over or lose its shape. Fix the wick in the centre, for example to a wooden stick laid across the opening. It should be a little longer than the mould, because with a height of 100 mm you need enough wick left at the end to light. Follow the instructions for your wax regarding pouring temperature.

• Melt the wax and pour it into the mould
• Let the wax cool completely before demoulding
• As it cools, the wax sinks around the wick: top up the dip with a little more wax
• Gently peel the mould away from the cast to demould

Not for use with food

Once you have cast wax or plaster in a mould, do not use it for food again.
