UHU Super Glue for Porcelain & Ceramics – quick repairs to small areas

UHU special super glue for porcelain & ceramics (art. no. 47695) bonds porcelain, ceramics, earthenware and terracotta, both to each other and to other materials. It is intended for small areas and minor repairs, such as broken handles, chips on decorative items or figurines. Once cured, the bond line is crystal clear and hardly noticeable if you work neatly.

The 3 g tube is enough for spot repairs where you only need a little glue. A super glue in a tube is not the right choice for large bonding areas.

How to glue porcelain and ceramics

Work on a surface that can cope with glue residue, and wear protective gloves and eye protection. Before gluing, check that the broken pieces fit together without a gap, as super glue does not bridge larger gaps.

• Make sure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free of grease.
• Apply just one small drop to one side; too much glue cures more slowly and runs out of the joint.
• Fit the parts together exactly straight away and press firmly for a short time.
• Breathing on the bonded area speeds up the bond even more.
• Wipe off excess adhesive with a dry cloth and close the tube tightly.

What it is suitable for

The glue is designed for small areas and minor repairs. This makes it suitable for handles, chips or decorative pieces made of porcelain, ceramics, earthenware or terracotta. Combinations with other materials are also possible. For larger areas or parts subject to heavy stress, a different adhesive is the better choice.
