Efco wooden egg in bleached beech – blank for painting, staining and engraving
The Efco wooden egg is a bleached beech blank for crafts and decorations, for example for Easter eggs you design yourself. The surface is smoothly sanded and untreated, so you can paint, stain or engrave the egg straight away. Choose the size from the options.
The egg is half-drilled, and the hole has a diameter of 3 mm according to Efco. It does not go all the way through the egg. You can push it onto a wooden stick or wire, glue in a hanging loop or fix it on a stand.
Decorating the wooden egg
If needed, sand the surface again with fine sandpaper before applying paint or stain. Colours show up clearly on the light, bleached wood. Stain looks different depending on the wood, so it is worth testing it on an inconspicuous spot. You can engrave patterns or names with a suitable engraving tool. To protect the finished egg, you can varnish it at the end.
