Clover Wonder Pins – curved basting pins for quilts, one-handed use

Clover Wonder Pins (art. no. 3210) are curved basting pins, mainly used to pin quilts together ready for basting. You open and close them with one hand. The pack contains 20 pins.

The curved shape makes it easier to pick up and hold the fabric. According to Clover, each pin holds three layers (top fabric, wadding, backing), which stay lying flat. You can also place them in spots that clips cannot reach. According to Clover, there is no risk of being pricked when the pin is closed.

Using Wonder Pins

Hold the pin by its back and press the catch down with your thumb. The closing pin stays above the fabric. This way you can open and close the pin without needing your second hand, which is handy when you are smoothing the layers flat with the other hand.
