Clover small point protectors – keep stitches from slipping off the needle

Clover point protectors (art. no. 3004) secure the stitches on circular knitting needles and on single-pointed knitting needles. You push them onto the needle tips when you put your knitting aside or take it with you. That way no stitches slip off, and you don't have to pick them up again.

The pack contains 4 protectors made of synthetic rubber. They are designed for needle sizes from 2.0 to 5.0 mm, so they suit sock, shawl and jumper needles in fine to medium sizes.

Using the point protectors

On a circular knitting needle, slide one protector onto each tip as soon as you put the piece down. The stitches then stay on the needles and cable, and your knitting packs neatly into your bag. For needles with only one point, a single protector is enough. Choose the size to match your needle size: do not force a thicker needle into the protector, as it may stretch or tear. Clover also makes a larger version for thicker needles.
