KnitPro 360° swivel cable – circular needles without a twisted cable

Combined with interchangeable KnitPro needle tips, the KnitPro 360° swivel cable turns them into a circular knitting needle. The tips rotate 360° on the cable, so it does not twist as you knit. The cable is made of stainless steel, flexible, smoothly coated and in the typical purple KnitPro colour. The join between tip and cable is smooth and flush, so your stitches can slide along without catching.

With this cable you can recombine the needle tips you already own to suit each project, instead of buying a fixed circular needle for every size and length. Choose your length from the options.

Assembling the needle

Screw two matching needle tips onto the ends of the cable and tighten them with the key supplied. If the tips work loose while you knit, simply tighten them again. Use the end caps to close the cable ends when you want to put stitches on hold or pause your project. The stitches then stay safely on the cable.

Which length to choose

The length given in the options is the total length of the finished circular needle, that is, with the tips screwed on. The cable itself is correspondingly shorter. For sleeves, hats or socks with a small circumference you need a shorter length; for scarves, blankets or jumpers worked in the round, a longer one. With a long needle you can also knit small circumferences using the magic loop method.
