LYKKE Indigo interchangeable needle set – 12 sizes of wooden tips with cables and case
The LYKKE Indigo circular knitting needle set is a 44-piece set with interchangeable wooden needle tips, from which you put together circular needles in many sizes and lengths. The tips are 5 inch (12.7 cm) long and cover 12 sizes from 3.5 to 12 mm.
The set contains 12 pairs of needle tips, 5 cables in three lengths, 2 connectors, 4 cable keys, 8 cable end stoppers and a needle case. So you do not need a separate circular needle for every size: you simply swap the tips or the cable.
Putting your circular needle together
Screw two tips in the size given in your pattern onto a cable and tighten them with the key. Check now and then that the tips are secure, so that nothing works loose while you knit. With the stopper on the end of the cable you can pause your work without stitches slipping off. With a connector you join two cables into a longer one, for example for large shawls or blankets.
Which cable length to choose
The longer the cable, the more stitches sit comfortably on the needle. For smaller circumferences such as hats or sleeves, choose a shorter cable; for wide pieces such as shawls or the body of a jumper, a longer one.

Short tips
