LYKKE CYPRA 5 inch interchangeable circular needle set – copper needles in 12 sizes with case

The LYKKE CYPRA interchangeable circular needle set is a 44-piece set with copper needle tips. You combine 12 needle sizes from 3.25 to 10 mm (US 3 to US 15) with five cables in three lengths, and knit hats, sleeves, jumpers or scarves in the round and in rows. Instead of buying lots of individual circular needles, you have all the usual sizes in one case.

The tips are 5 inch (12.7 cm) long. This short tip length sits compactly in the hand and works well for smaller hands or for knitting on the go. The needles are uncoated and develop a natural patina over time. If you want to keep the bright copper shine, you can polish them. The case is black.

Assembling the set

Screw the tips onto the cable by hand and tighten the join lightly with the key so that it does not come loose while you knit. The cable end stoppers fit onto the ends of the cables. They stop the stitches slipping off the needles when you put a project aside or change tips. A connector joins two cables together to give you a longer cable for large projects.

Which cable length to choose

For hats and sleeves in the round, use the 60 cm cable, as the cable should not be longer than the circumference of your work. For jumpers, shawls or wide scarves, 80 cm or 100 cm makes sense. For very small circumferences, knit using the magic loop method, which needs a long cable. The engraved sizes on the needles help you find the needle size in your pattern quickly.
