Clover Circular Stitch Holder, Short – Stitch Holder with a Flexible Cable

The Clover circular stitch holder (short, art. no. 3161) is a stitch holder for circular knitting. You put stitches on hold on it, for example to set a piece aside or store it. The nylon cable is soft and flexible. According to Clover, the work keeps its shape without the stitches being stretched out of shape.

You adjust the length to the number of stitches being held. That way a few stitches do not sit on an unnecessarily long cable, and when there are many stitches there is enough room.

How to use the stitch holder

Slide the stitches from your circular knitting needle onto the smooth stainless steel needle. Then pass the needle through the hole in the stopper. You set the length by pulling on the ball. The silicone rubber stopper holds the cable at the chosen length. Because the nylon cable is flexible, the work can be put away without taking up much space.

Short or long?

This short version is intended for circular needles of 23–41 cm. For circular needles of 61–91 cm, Clover also makes a long version (art. no. 3162).
