Clover Jumbo Locking Stitch Markers – they stay put in the stitch

Clover Jumbo stitch markers (art. no. 3109) are locking markers for extra thick yarn. Use them to mark the start of a round, pattern repeats or increases and decreases, without the marker slipping out of the stitches.

The markers close like a safety pin. Once hooked in and closed, they stay where you put them. They do not sit loosely on the needle, so they will not fall off when you move or carry your knitting. The pack contains 12 markers made of polyacetal.

Using the markers

Open the marker, hook it into the stitch you want and close it again. This marks a particular row or round, so you can find it quickly when counting later. For the start of a round on thick knitting, hook the marker into the first stitch of the round and move it up as needed. For pattern repeats, place one marker per repeat; for increases and decreases, place them where you want to make changes. With two colours or positions, you can also keep track of the right and wrong side.
