Prym wool crochet hooks without handle – extra light for chunky yarns
Prym wool crochet hooks without handle are light plastic crochet hooks for larger projects such as hats, scarves, bags, pouches, blankets and accessories. They are available in sizes from 6.0 to 20.0 mm. Choose the hook size from the options.
The hooks are extra light, so your hand tires less quickly when working large pieces. The surface is smooth and the shape is easy to grip. The transition from shaft to hook is smooth, and the specially shaped thread groove guides the yarn evenly. This helps keep the stitches regular.
What the hooks are suited to
With sizes from 6.0 mm, the hooks are intended for chunky wool and thick yarns. On large projects such as blankets, low weight matters because you hold the hook for many hours. The hooks have no handle of their own; the shaft rests directly in your hand.
Finding the right size
Go by the hook size given in your pattern or on the ball band. The figure on the ball band is only a guide; what matters is the tension given in your pattern.
