The addiClassic Lace circular knitting needle from addi is a fine knitting needle, 100 cm long, for lace patterns and other work with very thin yarn. The tips are slim and longer than on a standard circular needle. This helps pick up fine threads securely and catch the stitches in lace patterns. The manufacturer now sells the line under the name addiPremium Lace.
The tips are made of brass with a white bronze finish applied in many layers. The cable is printed red so it is easy to recognise. According to addi, the needle is made in Germany. Choose the needle size from the options.
What the 100 cm length suits
At 100 cm long, there is plenty of room for stitches. This is useful for large lace shawls and stoles worked back and forth in rows, and for work using the magic loop method. For smaller projects in the round, this series also comes in a shorter 80 cm length.
