YKK VISLON zip 95 cm – open-ended for jackets and sportswear
The YKK VISLON zip is a 1-way open-ended zip, 95 cm long, with one slider. You can use it in jackets and sportswear such as ski suits and motorcycle clothing.
The plastic teeth are injection-moulded firmly onto the tape. This makes the zip lighter than a metal zip of the same length, yet still sturdy. Tape and teeth are matched tone on tone, so the fastening looks discreet on the garment. Choose your colour from the options.
Which length do you need?
Measure the opening edge of your jacket from the hem to the top edge and choose the length to match. At 95 cm, it covers long jackets, coats and suits. The YKK VISLON series is also available in shorter lengths, for example 40, 65, 80, 85 and 90 cm.
Sewing it in
Pin or clip the two zip halves separately to the fabric edges and sew them in place close to the teeth using a zip foot. Close the zip once before topstitching so that both sides line up at the hem and at the collar.
