Bamboo embroidery hoop – holds fabric taut for embroidery and quilting

The bamboo embroidery hoop keeps your fabric taut and smooth when you embroider, quilt or appliqué. The wood is light, and the smooth surface is gentle on the fabric. The screw tightener lets you adjust the hoop to the thickness of your fabric.

The hoop comes in three sizes: Ø 16 cm, Ø 21 cm and Ø 27 cm. Choose the size from the options. You can leave finished embroidery in the hoop and hang it as a decoration to display it.

How to hoop the fabric

First undo the screw and take off the outer ring. Lay the inner ring flat, place the fabric with the design on top and fit the outer ring over it. Tighten the screw lightly, smooth the fabric at the edges and pull it evenly taut. The grain of the fabric should stay straight. Then tighten the screw firmly.

Which size to choose

For small designs and details, use the smaller hoop, as the fabric is easier to keep taut in it. The largest hoop gives more room for large designs, quilting or appliqué work. If you want to display an embroidery in the hoop later, it is best to hoop it in the right size from the start.
