Prym Needle Threader for Embroidery Needles – sturdy stainless steel threading aid

The Prym needle threader for embroidery needles (art. no. 611180) takes embroidery thread, thicker yarns and wool through narrow needle eyes. It is a flat plate of stainless steel (rustproof) with two hooks of different sizes, so it suits a range of needle sizes.

Compared with the classic wire threader, it is sturdier and can take more strain. You will notice the difference when the thread is thicker or the eye is small. Use it for embroidery and knotting, as well as for darning and for sewing in wool ends.

Threading

Choose the hook that only just fits through the needle eye. Push it through the eye, lay the thread in the hook and pull the threader back out. The thread is drawn through the eye with it. A hook that is too large cannot be pushed through and may bend the eye, so if in doubt, use the smaller hook.
