The paper is acid-free and free of optical brighteners, so the colours stay stable over time. The pad meets ISO standard 9706 for permanent paper. Choose your size from the options.

Working with the pad

Because the pad is glued on all four sides, the sheet lies flat while you paint and buckles less when it gets wet. You do not need to stretch the paper first. Let the painting dry completely before taking it off the pad. Then carefully release the sheet along the glued edge with a blunt knife so that the paper does not tear.

With 300 gsm and a fine grain, the pad suits beginners practising glazes, graded washes and small studies. Besides watercolour, you can also work with gouache or acrylic. It is also practical for sketches and colour swatches, as you keep the sheets together in the pad.
