Natural female pheasant feather – craft feather for carnival, hats and DIY
The natural female pheasant feather is a decorative craft feather approx. 20–25 cm long. You can use it for carnival crafts, to trim hats and for other DIY projects.
The feather shows the natural pattern and colours of the female pheasant. As it is a natural product, markings and length vary slightly from feather to feather. You get 1 feather. If you need several for a hat trim or a floral arrangement, allow for the quantity from the start.
Attaching the feather
For hats, costumes or arrangements, it is best to fix the quill with hot glue or craft glue. On fabric, you can alternatively sew the feather on at the quill with needle and thread. Use glue sparingly so that it does not run into the vane of the feather and stick the barbs together.
