Natural peacock sword feather – for carnival, hats and DIY

The natural-coloured peacock sword feather is a genuine peacock plume for crafting and decorating. You receive 1 feather approx. 30–35 cm long. It is suitable for carnival costumes, hats and other DIY projects that call for an eye-catching feather trim.

As this is a natural product, each feather may differ slightly in shape and markings. If you need several feathers for a project, it is worth allowing for one extra so that you can choose the best ones.

Using the peacock sword feather

For hats, headpieces or costumes, attach the feather at the lower end, for example with hot glue on a hat band or with needle and thread on a fabric base. If you combine several feathers, the trim looks fuller when you arrange them in a slightly staggered fan shape. The feather also looks good as decoration in a vase or on craft projects. Store it flat and dry so that it does not get bent.
