Efco peacock feathers 200–300 mm – natural craft feathers with eye markings

Efco peacock feathers (art. no. 1003410) are natural feathers with the characteristic eye markings. You can use them for craft and decoration projects such as dreamcatchers, jewellery, masks, costumes or festive decorations. The bag contains 5 feathers, each approx. 200–300 mm long.

At 20–30 cm, the length suits larger accents, for example at the end of a dreamcatcher or as a focal point on a mask. For jewellery and small projects, the feathers can also be trimmed shorter.

Working with the feathers

Being a natural product, the feathers vary in length and in the shape of the eye markings. Lay the feathers side by side before you start and sort them by length and appearance, so that the best ones end up where they will be noticed most.

• Trim the quill with scissors to the length you want
• Fix the feather by its quill with hot glue or craft glue, for example to a hoop, a mask or a piece of jewellery
• Apply the glue sparingly to the quill only, so the fine vanes do not stick together
• Arrange several feathers slightly staggered so the eyes show to better effect
