The Prym sewing machine needles 130/705 Universal (art. no. 154110) are an assortment of 10 needles in sizes 70, 80, 90 and 100 for machine sewing. According to the manufacturer, they are suitable for fabrics from fine silk to heavy corduroy and for almost all natural and synthetic fabrics.

The point is slightly rounded, so the needle penetrates the fabric well. With the flat shank, the needles fit all standard sewing machines, according to Prym. With four sizes in one pack, you have the right needle to hand for the most common fabrics.

Which size should you choose?

As a rule of thumb, the finer the fabric, the finer the needle. Size 70 suits fine fabrics such as silk, 80 and 90 suit medium-weight cotton, and size 100 suits heavier fabrics such as corduroy.
