Pilot Parallel Pen Refill Cartridges Mixable Colour, 12 Colours

Pilot Parallel Pen Cartridges – 12 Mixable Colours for Calligraphy

The Pilot IC-P3 Mixable Colour cartridges are ink cartridges developed specifically for the Pilot Parallel Pen. The set contains 12 cartridges, one in each of the 12 colours. You can write calligraphy and hand lettering in a wide range of colours without having to reorder individual cartridges.

According to Pilot, the ink is highly pigmented, and the colours are strong and opaque. They can be mixed, for example for soft colour gradients or multicolour effects.

Mixing colours and writing gradients

Because the ink is mixable, you can create further shades from the 12 basic colours and write soft transitions. Test the colour effect and opacity beforehand on the paper you will use later. That way you can see how strong the ink looks on it and how two colours blend into each other. On paper with a smooth surface in particular, the results often differ considerably.

Who is the set for?

The set of 12 is worthwhile if you want to try out different colours rather than settle on just one. It fits the Parallel Pen, which you use for calligraphy and hand lettering. With the assortment of black, blue-black, brown and strong colours, you can cover both classic and colourful lettering styles.
